New digs, new beginnings: Celebrating 4lifeskills’ Gosnells office warming!

We’re thrilled to share the exciting news about our Gosnells area’s office warming party! In early April, we threw open our doors to welcome everyone to our brand-new office space, and it was an event filled with joy, laughter, and plenty of good vibes.

We wanted this gathering to feel like a warm welcome into our new home, so we invited everyone—the people we support, families, staff, community partners, and even folks from outside the 4lifeskills family. The atmosphere was buzzing with friendly faces, new connections, and delicious food. Our spread included sandwiches, pastries, sushi, wraps, crackers, and dips—something for everyone to enjoy.

Our amazing staff were on hand to greet guests and show them around the new office. It was like a real estate open house, but way more fun! People were mingling, laughing, and getting to know each other, turning a simple office tour into a lively social event.

The highlight of the party was the inspirational speeches. Kate, our Operations and Development Manager, kicked things off with a warm welcome, setting the stage for what was to come. She spoke about our journey to the new office and how much it meant to have everyone there to share this moment.

Then it was Geoff’s turn. Geoff is one of the incredible people we support at 4lifeskills, and he absolutely owned the stage. He talked about his experience with us, how we listened to his dreams, his involvement with Kelmscott Football Club, and how much he has grown and thrived with our support. The crowd erupted in cheers for Geoff—he truly nailed his speech.

After Geoff, Tanya took the microphone. Tanya is another person we support, and her story of growth and success had everyone clapping. She shared how much she’s blossomed since joining the 4lifeskills family, and when she finished with her signature bow, the applause was thunderous. Tanya even mentioned that she’d jump at the chance to share her story again.

The day was filled with familiar faces and new ones, with staff bringing their families, friends, and community members. It was heartwarming to see everyone coming together to celebrate this new chapter for 4lifeskills in Gosnells. The room was filled with laughter and smiles as people connected, enjoyed the food, and shared ideas for making the new space even more fantastic.

This office warming was more than just a celebration of a new space—it was a celebration of the incredible people who make 4lifeskills what it is. We can’t wait to continue making a positive impact on the lives of the people we support, and our new office is just the beginning!
