Handmade with Love: Wreath Crafting in Rockingham

Creativity and community came together during this ANZAC week in Rockingham for Becca, Jade, Natalie, Kirsty and Tracy, where Nicole, one of our talented support staff, hosted a vibrant art workshop. We love it when our team brings fun, crafty ideas to life, and this event was no exception. The focus of this workshop? Making beautiful wreaths, perfect for decorating a space or giving as a thoughtful gift!

Nicole has a knack for incorporating crafting into her work, helping participants build new skills and take pride in their creations. She shared, “I had this idea I just had to get out. This week, I helped with making a wreath using a mix of retired and current products. Everything we used is from Stampin’ Up, except for the lights and twine.” Nicole’s passion is palpable, and her enthusiasm is contagious. She even has a blog where she sells her kits at Stampin’ Up and shares her love for crafting.

Becca, Jade, Natalie, Kirsty and Tracy, couldn’t wait to get started. The atmosphere in the workshop was electric as everyone jumped into the creative process, wrapping their cardboard wreaths with glowing LED lights. The lights added a magical touch that made each wreath unique. To top it off, they folded paper flowers to use as accents, adding vibrant colors and a personal touch. Nicole was there to guide them every step of the way, offering tips, encouragement, and a few crafting secrets.

As the workshop wound down, the participants gathered to admire each other’s work. The wreaths were stunning, each one reflecting the personality and creativity of its maker. Some participants decided to keep their wreaths as a reminder of a great day, while others planned to give them to someone special. The sense of accomplishment was clear on their faces, and the room buzzed with excitement and satisfaction. Tracy was really proud of her wreath and the assortment of paper flowers she chose for it.

Nicole and the rest of the support team made sure everyone had a fantastic time. They kept the energy high and the creative juices flowing. It wasn’t just about making wreaths; it was about building skills, fostering creativity, and creating a warm, welcoming environment.

Rockingham has always been a place where creativity thrives, and this workshop was a testament to that spirit. It’s about more than just crafting; it’s about the connections made and the joy of coming together to create something beautiful. By the end of the day, everyone left with a smile and a sense of accomplishment, eager for the next workshop.
