Sean recently challenged himself with a rewarding climb up the Manning Park Steps, enjoying both the physical achievement and the stunning views along the way. His efforts were rewarded with visits to two scenic lookouts, one overlooking the beautiful natural landscape of Manning Park and the other offering breathtaking views of the coastline.

During the outing, Sean explored part of the historic Davilak Walk, a trail established by the Manning family in 1840. This year marks 186 years since the creation of this iconic walking route, making the experience not only enjoyable but also an opportunity to connect with a fascinating piece of local history.

Adding to the day’s adventure, Sean met a friendly dog named Cody at one of the lookouts, making the experience even more memorable. Sean has been doing exceptionally well with his walks and climbs, continuing to build his confidence, fitness, and independence through community-based activities and outdoor exploration.

At 4lifeskills, part of our role is supporting participants to work towards their personal goals, whether that means taking on physical challenges, developing new skills, building confidence, or achieving milestones that are important to them. We are grateful to be part of each participant’s journey and to witness the progress they make along the way.

Every achievement, big or small, deserves to be celebrated. We are proud to walk alongside our participants, providing encouragement, support, and guidance so they can feel confident and empowered every step of the way. Sean’s accomplishment at Manning Park is a wonderful example of what can be achieved with determination, support, and a willingness to take on new challenges.
