Everyone at 4lifeskills is incredibly proud to celebrate Ahmed Masinovic, who was recently recognised by the City of Rockingham as part of its annual Volunteer Recognition Awards during National Volunteer Week.

Ahmed, a regular participant at IPL, has dedicated his time to supporting older members of the community at the Autumn Centre by helping them with technology and digital skills. Through his patience, kindness, and willingness to assist others, Ahmed has helped many people feel more connected and confident in an increasingly digital world.

Ahmed’s commitment to giving back to the community was acknowledged at the City of Rockingham’s Volunteer Recognition Awards, which honour individuals who generously contribute their time, passion, and skills to strengthen the local community. These awards celebrate the important role volunteers play in creating a more connected, inclusive, and supportive environment for everyone.

Ahmed’s support worker, Craig Castellano from 4lifeskills, was delighted to share in this special moment and celebrate Ahmed’s achievement. Recognition like this highlights the positive impact that volunteering can have—not only on those receiving support, but also on the volunteers themselves, who gain confidence, purpose, and meaningful connections through helping others.

At 4lifeskills, we believe that everyone has something valuable to contribute to their community. Ahmed’s dedication, generosity, and commitment to supporting others are a wonderful example of the difference one person can make.

Congratulations, Ahmed, on this well-deserved recognition. We are proud to be part of your journey and grateful to see the positive impact you continue to make in the lives of others.
