Our participants recently enjoyed an exciting and educational visit to the Rockingham Library, where they attended a special reptile education session presented by Perth Reptile Company.

The experience gave everyone the opportunity to learn more about some of Australia’s incredible native reptiles, discovering fascinating facts about their habitats, behaviours, and the important role they play in our ecosystem. It was a wonderful chance to gain a greater appreciation for our unique wildlife while challenging common misconceptions about these remarkable animals.

One of the highlights of the day was the opportunity to interact with the reptiles up close. Many of our participants showed incredible courage by gently touching and holding some of the animals, an experience that was both exciting and unforgettable. We are so proud of everyone for stepping outside their comfort zones, embracing new experiences, and approaching the session with curiosity and confidence.

At 4lifeskills, we value opportunities like these that combine fun with meaningful learning. Experiences such as this not only build confidence and encourage social participation but also help deepen our understanding of the natural world and the amazing wildlife that calls Australia home.

A big thank you to the organisers and Perth Reptile Company for delivering such an engaging and educational experience. We always appreciate opportunities that inspire learning, create lasting memories, and encourage our participants to continue exploring the world around them.
