Our Mandurah Self-Care Retreat was a wonderful few days filled with learning, connection, and great moments shared together. Participants enjoyed a refreshing getaway where they had the opportunity to focus on their wellbeing while building practical life skills in a supportive and friendly environment.

Throughout the retreat, everyone took part in a variety of activities designed to encourage independence and confidence. Participants explored new self-care routines, practised preparing healthy meals, and even tried out new recipes together in the kitchen. Working as a team, they also developed important everyday skills such as creating simple budgets, planning shopping lists, and organising meals for the group.

Mornings often began with participants preparing breakfast together, followed by different activities that kept everyone active and engaged. There was plenty of laughter, teamwork, and even some time dedicated to sports and outdoor fun, helping everyone stay energised while enjoying each other’s company.

Most importantly, the retreat created a space where participants could build friendships, support one another, and celebrate their achievements along the way. It was fantastic to see everyone trying new things, growing in confidence, and making meaningful memories together.

At 4LifeSkills, we feel grateful to have shared this experience with such an amazing group and to support our participants as they continue building independence and enjoying new opportunities.
